If you are running skinny's up front it is easy I daily drive with it like this. As for wider tires I could'nt tell ya.

With your car off try, have some one push the car and try to turn the wheel, as a stop and slow speeds its very difficult. Once you get moving, it gets much easier. My buddy deleted his P/S and just kept the power rack in place to be used as a manual rack. It works fine for him, but I don't think he drives it a lot.

Are you deleting AC too? Relocating the Alt?

Yes my a/c is already completly deleted inside and out. I just figured if I could relocate the alt to where my bypass pully is and use a turn buckle so I can remove everything else it would look a lot better and easier to work on

with skinnies it's not bad, but far from easy

with large stock style wheels it will be a major PITA

I plan to run a short belt for track use only, but otherwise I prefer power steering for a street car.

Yeah, a few times around the block and your arms will be spent. I have strong arms, but I still wouldn't DD it without skinnies.

OP, look at this thread and contact that guy.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...or-ps-kit.html

I'm sure he can make a kit that deletes the ps pump.

I have the power steering deleted and the factory lines looped together. I've only driven it around the block a couple times since Im doing a bunch of work all at once to it, but the factory 245s where on the front and it was a little work, but wasnt bad, just like any other factory non power steering car.

well i decided to go a different route when i go home and decided to keep the power steering and just fab the stock AB so that the alt was on the bottom where the a/c compressor used to be at. I will have pics posted up here shortly.
