If i went with the ET streets, i can only get a 26" or 28" tire for the 16" rim, kindof looking at a 27", thats only offered in a 15", but after talking with Dave, he said not to go with a 28", that would hurt my 60ft., plus i'll have to do some mods to the lip molding & most likely the fender (not doing that), so my choices are either the 255/60/15 MT DR, or the 27x10.5x15" ET street.

My next trip to the track i'll leave @ 3500 & see what happens, then try 4-4500, maybe i'll see some 11.6-11.7s.

Excellent time! Good luck on the quest for 11's.

Seeing stuff like this makes me want to put N2O on my car next...then I think about constantly changing spark plugs on an LT1...

I'm running 275/50/15s on a 15x8, it's 26.1" tall and they hook great to me but I know your wanting something at 27 inch. What's the tread width on the 255/60/15?

Unless you wanted to look for a set of used drag rims my buddy used a set of the cheap steel rims from summit that are 39 bucks a piece 15x8s with the 5.5bs. They dont look that bad in black on his car. I have the 27 et streets on my car if I had it to do over again I would probley go with a set of et drags instead.

Tread width is 8.8" with a 10.7" section on the 255/60/15s, my 255/50/16s are 9.7" tread, 10.3" section. This is why i was thinking of the 27" ET streets, i know they will hook, i'm sure i'll be fine with the taller/narrower tire, even if its the DR, i hook good now.

Thats what i'll do if needed, sounds like a decent price, not looking for anything fancy, just wanting to go fast-errr lol. Thanks

Don't hesitate, just do it!! changeing plugs ain't that bad with headers, well long tubes anyways.
