Default hose question...

what is the hose that connects from the passenger side valve cover to the throttle body? mines is hard and cracked so i think its time to replace it. i think its some kind of vaccum hose maybe? also need to know the name of the small hose thats directly under that one on the throttle body.. this is on a 93 z also...

id say that hose is for your pcv valve while ur at it buy a new pcv valve and replace the hose any hose will do....and the one under it...i have to look at mine i let you know unless someone else posts up

The hose from the valve cover to TB is for crankcase ventilation. Technically it is a vacuum hose, but I wouldn't call it one. It's one part of the PCV system.

The hose under it goes to the EVAP solenoid.
I have both those hoses which I'm not using anymore. I could check if they are in good condition if your interested.

It's called a PCV hose, but it does not go to the PCV valve.

GM PART # 10128365

The other hose is the Evaporative Emissions canister purge solenoid valve pipe.

GM PART # 10105324
