My New Pit Crew
The basic rules:
1. Must meet minimum weight for class.
2. Stock interior including front seats (rear seat can be removed). Must include stock dash, interior panels, carpet, headliner, etc.
3. Stock wheelbase.
4. 9" x 30" rear tire max.
5. Any corporate rear with any gear set.
6. Any corporate 3-speed with any gear set and stall. Aftermarket clutch operated 4-speeds.
7. Blueprinted stock motor. No porting etc. allowed. Must have stock size valves. Bore + .060 and stroke + .015 max. Stock cam lift with any duration allowed. Stock weight NHRA approved pistons and rods. Unmodified intake and throttle body. Must retain stock deck clearance and gasket thickness. Combustion chamber must meet minimum factory spec. when checked. Stock rockers.
8. Open headers.
9. Stock style suspension.
10. Aftermarket brakes allowed.
11. Aftermarket computer allowed.
12. Fuel must meet NHRA/IHRA spec. and is checked.
13. Stock body panels.
14. All NHRA/IHRA required safety equip. for ET.
The tech. dept. can ask to see any of the above (and more) at any time!
