95 LT1 with 86 style balancer?

95 LT1 with 86 style balancer? I am rebulding a NON-Elelectronic LT1 already installed GM performance Parts Carb'd Intake and deleted Opti-spark and added CSR waterpump am going to try a OLD STYLE Balancer since LT1 is going into 86 Z-28 anybody already do this?LT1 balancer has no timing marks and wont line up with existing Accesorries in car.
Basically it's a LT1 bottom end correct?
I used a SBC hub with a LT1 Balancer (ATI) If wanted to I could have used the SBC balancer and it would have worked.

Cloyes Double timing chain is what I'm running.
I would use a crank trigger setup, the timing would be pretty darn accurate.
I'm using a Super Vic Intake on mine.
Since yours is internally balanced your flexplate / flywheel would need to be neutral balanced as well. The front hub / dampner would be as well.

Is your set up pretty consistent,Im putting my LT1 in an 86 Z-28 for my son who is in his last year of Jr.Dragsters and he wants to run a door car this year so I hope this works out if not He will have a pretty stout street car anyway,
