Default 74 c10 project

Allright, Im thinking about taking on a nice, fun challenge. Ive got a 74 chevy c10 swb. I may be picking up a nice low milage lt1/4l60e combo.
Its going to be fairly easy as far as bolting it in goes, pretty much all Id need to pick up is a driveshaft and cross member from a short bed 80's 700r4 truck. What id like to do is keep my factory dash, But cut out the current gages, and install the same sized electric gages, to work with the lt1's wiring harness. This is kind of where Im at a loss. Also, the fuel system needed to run the FI on the lt1. I know I'll need 45+psi, But wondering how to use the stock tank, while having a return from the regulator. The last issue I really have is what stall to run on a heavy truck like this. I plan on running a cam only+bolt ons with this as well eventually.
Anyway, what do you all think, eh?

The easiest thing to do in such a swap is to find a complete LT1 donor car. No one can be able to tell you what you're going to need exactly, as it will require plenty of ingenuity as obstacles arise.

Its not something that I expect to have finished real fast, but something I can pick away at. I dont really think its going to be that difficult, I could probably have it up and running in one day, without the gages being hooked up of course.

Ive done plenty of swaps before, but they've all been carbed, with mechanical everything.
