My LT1 is getting some high mileage on her but doesn't burn a drop of oil. And Ive been thinking of refreshing the internals. What do you guys recommend I get to do this. I know the obvious stuff like a ring set, rod/crank bearing set, camshaft bearings and a complete gasket set but what about all the little stuff that might need to be replaced?

valvetrain components are a big thing lifters timing set pushrods if you want valvesprings maybe

Thanks but are there any seals or anything in the valve train that also might need to be replaced.

as in gaskets? id replace all the gaskets and have the machine shop put new screens the little ones that are in the lifter valley. are you rebuilding the entire motor?

I'm not doing a entire rebuild just refreshing some of the internals. Basically replacing all bearing and seals and any part that's worn out. I guess I'm basically asking are there any parts like valve guides, valve seals and the like that might need to be replaced. I'm trying to getting things put together before I tear down into the engine.

oil shaft, coupler, pick-up, pump (preference based), etc

take the heads to a reputable shop to have them inspected, they can tell you the quality of the components and freshen them up if needed be
