haha you said it best man. theirs alawys something! im just happy as hell the trans is back in the car. this is just a slight inconvenience. but at this point another few bucks on all those parts new aint a big deal. i just really wanted to say "im done!" tonight. i just hope i can say that tomorrow night

yeah easy fix but no parts until tuesday i just want to drive it SO BAD! i ran it alittle while just now keeping the rpms steady at around 2-3k rpm.... it feels Amazing just sitting there in it while its running. i nearly jizzed myself

and a walk around! that slight tap you hear is a leak in the exhaust manifold on the passenger side

welp i found my problem with my clutch pedal lol. idk How this happened. i guess just alot of wear. that mixed in with it being seized and my heavy foot. it all came together and i wound up with this



not only broken but bent in two spots. i couldnt even push it closed against my steel work table. im getting a whole new set up. primary, slave, hose, and reservoir hopefully tomorrow. if thats the only thing thats wrong then tomorrow will be the first day shell be back on the road! EXCITED !!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! took her out today for the first time in 2 months!!!!!! IT was Great! car ran good. clutch felt smooth. everything was good. except for every once in awhile my car would bog down from a stop. i severely need a tune tho so im hoping thatll cure that issue. i also have what i hope is an exhaust leak coming from the passenger side. im writing up a new thread about it now.

and three honks im honestly not 100% sure. i dont have the list of how much each individual job did but as a whole including bearings/honeing/building cutting the crnak it came out to $1100

How do you like the orange? I haven't seen too many pics of orange LT1's in 3rd and 4th gens. I was thinking of doing the same.

it is Amazing. it looks really good. the only color for a SBC IMO

semi gloss engine enamel. several coats. the only problem im having with it is all the tree pollen all over the place lol

Lol, I went with Ford red, I wanted the closest thing I could get to blood red, it was about it. Looks awesome, kinda oldschool!
