my builder was impressed with my gasket matching job. i have to admit that for the amerature i am i did pretty damn good

short block fully assembled

i think it looks fantastic in orange! the heads are going to remain bare and the intake i painted cast aluminum so itll be easier to clean off. im going to try to get it installed on saturday into the engine bay if i can. i have to double check some things prior to doing that however. meanwhile here are afew more pics

its been a real busy couple of days. but its finally done. my engine is 100% complete With a windage tray and the oil pan baffles. i believe my builder when he told me that it didnt have a windage tray in there when he pulled it apart. but a $7 tray from summit cured that problem! and im very happy about that. i dont have any pictures of the engine fully complete but i will tomorrow when it comes to my shop. saturday i hope to get it all bolted into my freshly painted engine bay and hook up as much as possible. today my friend stopped by with a present for me for the top of my intake. tell me what you guys think of how my fuel rail came out with my OCD friend and his polishing skills lol

i think it came out great! almost makes me wish i had painted my intake black. but i really like the cast aluminum look and atop my engine itll look Perfect!!! ill take a pic tomorrow when i mock it all up.
and the cause of my latest dismay. my purdy newwindage tray
