Default a/c delete pulley

ok, i bought an a/c delete pully for my lt1 on ebay, and it got here today, but the pulley is plastic, anyone used these, and should i be concerned or will it be fine

I believe they are all plastic. I have one from Summit in my car. It has a plastic pulley and it works flawlessly.

Mine is from advanced and is plastic also works good so far!

Yea, it's plastic just like the tensioner pulley.

I actually though about making one out of a tensioner pulley and some 1/8" sheet metal cut into a triangular piece like the !AC pulley setup. Can't see it not working, nut on the back of the sheet metal to bolt the pulley too and however many holes for the mounting to the bracket.

Im going to use the factory 1LE pc. Not sure if its plastic???

I got mine from summit, it had quite a bit of play in it but a few washers fixed that.

mine is also plastic. Mine didnt allign right so i had to space mine with some washers but the plastic pulley worked just fine untill i completly removed it and moved the alt down there in its place.

I bought the same one off of ebay, and I havent had a single problem with it. I didnt even need the shims that came with it. Fit perfectly

There's some on eBay last I looked, but if you're looking SPECIFICALLY for a 1LE one, you're asking quite a lot heh A 3rd Party recreation is a good bet though. After all, the LT1 has not been put into a 1LE vehicle for 12 years.
