got the car wieghed

its pretty much stock as a clock body wise. stock wheels and all. it weighed in at 1930lbs in the front and 1480 in the rear. wich is a total of 3410lbs. i did some online calculators and it seems to have 350 wheel hp. the best time to date is a 8.000 @ 88mph.

not bad at all... was that race weight?
mine was 3540 w/me and a 1/4 tank of gas

thats without me and probably 3/4 tank of gas. i gues race weight would be around 3600lbs. thats with me and 1/4 tank. just guessing. im thinking about taking the a/c out. it quit working. take the abs out. its messed up. and take the cruise out. the cable broke. maybe some odd and ends like the front bumper. not sure how far i would go with this car. its not my race car.

be very careful. weight reduction can become very addicting. once you start, it is hard to stop. my car ended up at 27xx lbs. and that was with a mild steel 12 point roll cage.

ya i know. thats whats happened to every car ive had. but im going to try to keep this one as is. ive got a race car. i'll just take weight out of it if i get the urge.

man! I just can't see my car ever being there and it is gutted for the most part.
