Default Stroker or not ????

ok guys i finally gathered the parts to do a cam swap on the formula and then the F_ing car starts to give out on cyl # 7. i really dont want to spend the money on a stroker but if repairing that will cost me around the same ball park i might as well. what do u guys recommend and if so what did it cost u guys.

you don't have to build a stroker if you dont want to.
did you do a compression test?
If your stock crank is in bad shape then i would consider doing a stroker since you will be buying the replacement parts you may aswell get more TQ

I really dont want to spray it. My question is how much would everything come out to i know that many of you here have done strokers or just rebuilt a 350 lt1. I mean including parts and labor so i can freakin start saving and what would you guys recomend

It way cheaper to rebuild a stock 355 but if you want a bullet proof bottom end it get pricey

My 383 short block cost me around $3900 in parts and machinework. After heads, valvetrain, etc., I'm up to around 7 or 8k...don't really remember exactly anymore.
