OBD 1 or 2? pic of car!
I'm not totally new to this, I've pulled codes on my '91 K2500 truck. It has a 12 prong connector and 4 terminals inside it. Could this be obd2? My buddy I got it from said he's had it scanned before and it worked like it should have. The only thing is I've never seen an obd1 scanner that was worth anything and I thought all obd2 scanners were 16 prong.Trending Topics

And most auto parts stores (at least around here) do not scan obd1 cars for free only obd2.
I guess i need a mail order tune. But it would be really helpful to be able to plug it up to my laptop and read stuff while i drive.
