I had that happen to me once on a 1/4 tank too..10ft from the pump

my most accurate fuel gauge i have seen has to be in my 79 olds toronado. thing is on the dot hahaha

I average 22 out of both my stock camaro and blown TA. Besides basic maintainance a laptop and a good tune will do it.

i get around 220-250 depending on where i drive/how fast i drive. i did squeeze 320 out of it once, but that was all highway. if i slowed up a bit i could have gotten 350.

last friday i was in a hurry to make it somewhere by 8, so i stopped real quick and put in $5 about 2 gallons and it took me to half a tank. now im not a smart fellow but that cant be right. and i was on the red line. BTW i get @ 17-18 MPG and i always drive her hard

The gauge can vary by up to 1/4 tank depending on when you are looking at it during braking or accelerating when you are getting low.
