If you are skilled and patient, you can make all 3 work on Vista. However, IIRC none of them work on an OBD II LT1. JET does, and should already be Vista compatible. Not sure about Autotap, since I refuse to downgrade my personal computers to Vista.
LT1 owners have been after EFILive and HPTuners to modify their products for our PCMs, but as slp mentioned, the market is just too small compared to current and future vehicles they are developing for. So we just limp along like all the other orphans.

which is BULL **** because i guarantee that hp tuners or efi live would sell tons of lt1 software if they would just develop it. Last fall when i talked to Tom @ LPE, he said that they have seen a huge influx of lt1 cars in the shop over the last year for head/cam packages.

Can you tune multiple vehicles with tunnercats without paying for credits or licensing.

with the jet you get 2 or 4 licenses, they are not vehicle specific. Meaning you can use them on any gm 96-03 obd2 car or truck. The tunercats I believe you only get one license and its vehicle specific.

JET is "compatible" but I had problems with it and vista on 2 different laptops. It would randomly error and close the program when making changes. Now I run it on my old *** win ME laptop and it hasnt given me any issues at all. I wish they would have another way to buy extra licenses other then sending you the box and waiting for them to send it back.

Anyone had any success with a datalogger than can use the JET interface? switch cables between tuning and logging is a PITA

Then you have to use a seperate scan/log software, since the dst is tuner only. westersgarage.com has the scan software to integrate with the jet dst.
i went on there web site and im not sure what scan tool i need for my car. can you send me a link to the one i need please? thanks

I believe westersgarage.com has the scan software that will integrate for 160.00! This is what the guys from tunercats said.

Before Tunercat sold it to Jet it was unlimited. This paying extra for credits or licensing is just pure greed.

The only thing I have found that works for our cars is Autotap. It is not very good (locks up, graphs are touchy, etc.) and has not been upgraded for years, but it does work. I normally log the data then export it as a comma delimited file, import it to Excel, and do my data analysis. And as a bonus, it is expensive. You need the standard USB version ($200) plus the enhanced parameters (a $100 bonus). Try finding a used version, it will save you some money.

Woops, wrong thread lol, nope it wont work. The ecmpro from westersgarage should interface through the jet software and cable. But your lookin at 500-600, wich is why I have not pulled the trigger and bought it. Right now I use the proscan software. It is scan/log only and works ok, but could be a bit better.
