hahahah yeah exactly!!!

dude you need a stall, gears, and a better wheel/tire combo.

i think llyod says 3200-3400 stall with LE2's. get 3.73's in the rear. i would definitely go smaller than 18's in the rear, you have absolutely no sidewall
look into 16's with drag radials.

do this then post your new time slip

if you aren't in the 12's, sell me your top end

I had the exact same problem as you last night, i have almost the identical set up but i have the LE emissions cam. my fastest time was 14.00 @ 104 I had terrible 60ft times. I really need to work on my driving and slicks and suspension are next.

You need some sticky tires, that's all. Street rubber w/ Heads & Cam won't cut it!

Questions as to why running stock gears and stall and STREET TIRES on this setup as all 3 makes Jesus weep.. but I understand on the aspect because I myself am broke. Cracked my stock torque arm

Its a street car, money is tight...

Never sunk any money into a converter because I wanted a T56 which I recently purchased just need to get started on it. So that solves one of my problems, next is the gear probably will do a 3.90 then some cheap radials for my shock wheels...

everyone is focusing on the ET way too much. MPH is a calculation of power-to-weight essentially and ET is the ability to simply utilize that available power. his MPH reflecting a bolt-on to very mild cam LT1 not a h/c one. Seeing as you have a mailorder tune I'd say get that car on a dyno and see what happens. stock convertor and shitty tires are holding you back but ET-wise not MPH-wise, better gears will help but they definately won't make up the difference for what you are trapping vs what you should be trapping.

As soon as I am done with my trans swap, it is heading back to the dyno to make sure everything is in order. Guess we will see then. The first and last time I had it on the dyno, it was falling off around 5.5k if I remember right because the afr was shooting up high. I replaced the fuel pump with a racetronix unit but havent been back to the dyno since then.
