Went to the track for the first time this weekend. Was hoping for some better results but could not get the car to hook at all. Every run was slower than what these cars run from the factor which is disappointing. I am running BFG KDW2's 295/35/18 apparently they just cannot cut it. Times of the 3 runs below...
1st
60' 2.47
330 6.640
1/8 9.741
1/4 14.374
MPH 106.66
2nd
60' 2.686
330 6.681
1/8 9.662
1/4 14.217
MPH 108.25
3rd
60' 2.7
300 --
1/8 9.707
1/4 14.337
MPH 106.43
Thinking about getting some DR's to run on the stock rims.

greater that 2.5 60's on ANY tire means your suspension is **** for hooking. You should be able to get a 2.0 with those tires easy enough, that would put you at bottom 13s at minimum. Also your not even getting 110mph, you should be closer to 115. that says there is a problem somewhere
Yeah you couldn't hook at all. Your 60' time is evidence to that. Your best was a 2.47 which no offense is terrible. Is your car a A4 or a M6. I bet its a m6 and were you leaving the line at idle? But tink about it all that I saw wrong was your 60' if you could drop it to even a 2.2x you will see high 13's drop it to a 2.0 and that is mid 13's so that isn't bad at all with a mildly modded lt1 on street tires. Keep your head up the first time at my track the best I ran was a 9.5 in the 1/8 then I kept getting better it will come to you with practice.
Well for starters It was at GLD wich sucked on friday I was there. You 60ft needs tons of work, and seems like slow shifts and what are you shifting at sound low. Your set up looks alot like mine and I trapped 119. Something is not right for sure!!! I would like to drive it.

The car is currently an A4 with the stock converter and 3.23's. I have a T56 waiting to be swapped...
I couldn't get it to hook at all, I was leaving off Idle and rolling into it and it wouldn't stick. I figured my MPH was a little slower than it should but figured my 60 foots had something to do with that?

A stock stall with 3.23s rolling off the throttle does not hit hard enough to be shredding tires that much unless the track was oiled down.
Your 60's have to do with your ET, not much with your mph. Your tranny and/or stall may be slipping costing you some mph up top...but not explaining the over 2.5 second 60's.

108 is good for 12s all day if he can get that 60 down into the 1.8-9s. I couldnt hook a 275/50 MT DR at GLD so dont feel bad on your 60.
Once you get the spin worked out and go WOT out of the gate your mph will pick up a good bit.

Man I have been on a 2 second 60 foot with junk street tires and a bad clutch. Best time is in sig however the run afterwords I ran a nice .5 mph faster and was only .005 slower
