If you have replaced your regulator and your fuel pressure is holding, then your starting problem might not be fuel related. Did your problem begin after any changes you have made?

You might want to contact Trifecta and ask what changes were made to the tune. Let them know what problems you are having and maybe that will help pinpoint what is going on. Just a thought.

LT1 f-body tachs are notorious for being inaccurate so it is entirely possible the idle is where it should be.
Was the new FPR stock? As stated your pressure should not be at 50psi. That is too high.

I have a similar problem. My starter will crank for about 7 seconds before the engine starts. When i turn the key to run the fuel pressure will shoot right up to 44 psi and then drop down to 0 immediately after. At idle it's around 36 psi. Could i need a new FPR?

i think earlier in the thread they said if the pressure dropped immediately to 0 it is the check ball in the fuel pump...

anyways, my iac counts are 23...i have no idea what this could be

Default Please Help

Did anyone ever figure out the issue? I have had the same problem for over a year now and haven't figured it out but it makes the car look like it's age when it's in much better shape.

Thanks!!!
