latley my car has been chattering when down shifting and also when taking off. does anyone no what it could be? i know bad clutches some times do this but i just replaced mine about 3000 miles ago so im not sure. u joints?

if anyone thinks they know what it is please let me know.

 

You didn't replace your pilot bearing with your new clutch huh?

 

sorry i forgot to post that my car is a 95 formula m6.
but your probably right about the pilot bearing.

 

could be that pilot bearing or possibly a bad tranny mount. mine does the same thing when i take off and sounds bad but its gettin replaced this weekend.
