Steering wheel issues
It has a little too much play when turning it side to side. Also if you pull down a bit on the wheel, it will tilt down diagonally towards the left.
Has anyone fixed this problem before? I started taking it apart today, but I didn't have a socket large enough for the bolt behind the SRS.

My car has these exact problems as well. The play in the wheel from top to the bottom left is normal wear on the tilt mechanism,I believe. If you or a previous owner used the wheel to support oneself while exiting the car, this can cause that.I've been told that the tilt mechanism is sort of complex and would be a lot of money to fix (expensive parts). Not sure how much,I've since learned to live with it.
The play from side to side could be tie rods, loose parts in the steering linkage, the steering rack itself,or loose screws deep in the steering column.I had my mechanic tighten the 3 screws that sit in deep in the steering column (my tie rods and steering linkage were good) and it tightened up the wheel play somewhat, but not all the way.In my case most of my play is coming from the rack itself,on the driver's side. When I turn the wheel left, there is more play then when nudging the wheel to the right, which has hardly any play.
Sorry that I can't tell you how to fix it,as I'm ignorant with steering columns and such, but I thought I would share my experience with it.
