Default Info needed.

I just recently bought a '94 Z28 6 speed w/ 41k miles on it and would like to know what i can do to make it faster, cheaply, without nitrous. Ive already had a 3" Flowmaster put on, and once i sell my vette i will have about a grand or so to work with. I was thinking, K & N intake, 52 or 58 mm throttle body (58 should be better, but there may be some bad things about it, or they wouldnt have the 52 option, not sure though), LT4 hot cam, roller rockers, and underdrive pully's. If anyone has any advise on what to do please lemme know.
Also, if i did to all this, what will my car be gettin power wise, and roughly what will it run 1/4 mile wise? Thanks

CAI, Cutout, Headers....58 MM TB will not help on your basically stock car. if you are gonna go with a TB, stick with a 52 mm, but I wouldnt even bother with that until you have atleast a complete exhaust system at the minimum.

i already have a cat-back flowmaster, but headers are pretty expensive, do they really make that much of a difference?

Swap the flowmaster with another catback like a Hooker. Like Gangly said, forget about the TB until you have more mods. You NEED headers for a quick car, period. Do that and a hotcam, CAI, and a tune, and you'll be running consistant low 13s.

ok, thanks guys, i appreciate it. but one other thing, even with it stock, its nearly impossible to get a good start, 1st gear just completely overwhelms the rear tires, its got new 245/50's w/ posi, but its just not enough, is this normal or, am i doing somthing wrong? i mean untill this car the only standard car i drove is my truck, so that could play a little role in it.

you might be giving it too much throttle. Get some drag radials if you've got bad traction.

with hotcam, headers, CAI, Tune, Gears, etc., you can expect 12's all day long in my opinion. 6spd's are hell on tires so dont worry, just get used to it and have some fun with it . You will need Drag Radials at the track with a 6 spd to consistantly clock off good times.
