actually it wasnt too bad.. The hardest parts were getting the dipstick tube back in and mocking up the straigh pipe to delete the cat. I almost gave up but I pushed myself through and im glad I did I got finished with it and drove it for 30 mins. Tomorrow im gonna go out and tighten the bolts up more

I would put some of those heat sleeves on the spark plug wire ends to save yourself some headache down the road as well. The leak may be coming from the cat delete where those clamps are...just not squeezing it enough to seal perhaps? If it is coming from there, they have sleeve style exhaust band clamps that are like 3" wide and would seal the crack as well as clamp the pipes together.
Did you double check all of the spark plugs are seated tightly?
What gaskets are you using?
Keep in mind that headers amplify valvetrain noise, and the tick you may hear could be normal.

All plugs are good.
I used the gaskets supplied from edelbrock.
Yeah I do notice a valvetrain noise.. I wonder if my rockers need adjusted or not..
Probably because putting on a cat at some point if he needs to pass emissions is a easy thing to do, where having to swap back all the emission fittings would be a S.O.B. It would require more work then most would want to do. A lot of guys out here will go through smog testing and once they pass, take the cat/s off for that next couple years until they have to go through the sniffer again.
did you use copper gaskets ? if so did you put them in the proper way ? the side with the high spots faces the header

No I used the gaskets supplied from Edelbrock.. They did have a bump around the ports and I believe I put thoes towards the heads..Oops I think I made a boo boo

you might have the gaskets backwards. its been a year since i did my headers but i think the bumps went towards the header. also. double check all your hook ups if you kept your EGR and AIR.
I honestly don't think it matters which side the bumps go. Most directional gaskets will tell you on the gasket itself which side goes toward what surface (head gasket, intake, etc.). If yours didn't say anything on them, I'm sure it doesn't matter.

Yeah there were no marking on which side was up,down,out,in so I guess im ok.. Also it may just be the valvetrain noise im hearing because with it started I was under the car and I didnt hear anything leaking.. Also its loud as hell I went out for a test drive and there was a cop at the gas station filling up and I stomped on it and he couldnt do anything because he was in the wrong town all he could do was watch hehe.. But it sucked not being able to rapt the hell outta the car because im still in the break-in stage on the engine 
did you put any high temp copper silicon on the gaskets? that is usually a good thing to do. i would try to feel around by hand for a leak though. its usually pretty evident. that or some miles on the car will show carbon streaking.
