Default Updates on my YSi blown LT1

Some updates in case you missed it. Made a dual plate setup for the blower to stop the flexing, i made the standoffs, spacers and plates on my small lathe. Added a Tial Q BOV in place of the vortech Mondo, no more problems with pipes blowing off and compressor surge. Also switched from a 30mm cog drive with 68/26 pullies and 3" single bearing tensioner that kept shredding teeth off the belts and was just not able to take the stress, to a 10-rib setup using a 7.8" crank which required some machining to work, 3.25" paxton dual bearing idler which is a manual tensioner, and a 3.12" blower pulley. Belt length ended up being 44.5" which is the only size available in that area, but it fits perfect with this pulley, i may be able to do a 2.95" on the blower the way i have it set up, or could go with the 3.33" if i wanted. I need to move the tensioner slot on the plate a bit to get extra adjustment for any more options.

And some idle vid with the BOV and a quick pull i made this afternoon. That BOV is ******* loud

That is a pretty serious setup. Should make massive power. How much boost when done?

I made a few custom parts for my last motor setup (brackets and such), and they make all the difference. Having things in just the right place or secured perfectly is nice.

It's hard to believe you fit that huge ****** in our tight engine bay. Nice work.

yeah it was a pain in the *** thats for sure. Every bracket and every peice needed modification, but it wasnt that hard overall. In fact im thinking of having a couple sets lazer cut this winter when they are out in case anyone wants to do one. I expect to be around 16psi at the most the way it is, i would like to make 625whp on factory stock heads, think that would be something worthwile for teh community. I need to get a quieter exhaust on it before i do anything else, its fvcking loud! Im gonna get some vid this weekend or next weekend of outside the car. Now next winter with the 230cc brodix heads and solid roller should be interesting.....

So i have this on a bunch of sites, and i have gotten some decent interest on making a couple of these, i was suprised. Anybody here that would be interested in a bracket it with pullies and belt, everything but the blower itself? What kinda price range would be expected?
Belt-$50
crank pulley-130
spacer-30
idler-80
blower pulley-95
=385
+shipping
=400 for pulley assembly, + some machining charge. I could do the complete pulley setup ready to bolt on (with ATI balancer) for $575 i think. Brackets i could have cut with spacers and all the bolts for probably $275.

no, shouldnt be a problem using the stock trans on the street, since there are people putting down way more power than me on stock components with no issues. I am pretty tame with the shifter
