i had them make up what i felt they could do. i wanted my mufflers on because i'm impatient, and after talking to the only good place i could think of in the town i was in, i wasn't even going to try to get them to fab up an x-pipe for me.
they did a damn good job at the rest of the exhaust, just fucked up the driver's side right after the collector. i know it can tuck up way way more than it is.

bad_tx, try taking a look at the pics and tips section of ls1sounds.com; i had to print out a couple pages of the true duals, and take them to muffler shops to show them that it was, indeed, possible for a car to have dual exhausts.. ![Bang Head](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_banghead.gif)
i was gonna go crazy if people kept telling me "oh it's gonna sit low, you can't drive it around town, blah blah blah, but i'll try what ya tell me to". after the pictures they shut up and did it.

Yes they do, I installed them on a buddys car....it was a Texas Speed true dual x-pipe sweet thunder kit......easy to put on the first time...once you start clamping the ends start to destort on future dealings.

I only recommend the sweet thunders for use with their kit for space issues, because the sweet thunders are so long. I think it would be hard to fab up a custom kit with them.
I run a muffler shop, and I have installed 5 sets of dumped true duals 3" on LS1 f body's. I have only dealt with 1 chambers. I also have used the Summit universal 3" x-pipe kit...it has mandrel bends and only need minimal tweaking to fit....at a muffler shop....the drivers side is what has to be fabbed up to then start the Summit kit and it squares up nicely after that.

I have the Dynomax Bullets on my dumped X-Pipe and it sounds pretty insane. My Magnaflow sounded great but was too quiet for my taste so I tore it off for the TD's.

I'm running the Summit Universal 2.5" X-Pipe Kit on my lowered car and my ground clearance is amazing except for the turndowns. The shop I had do it had alot of experience putting TD's on F-Body's so that didn't hurt.

I would go with the magna flows, they should have be better when your cruising and lite on the throttle.
My car was great with the dauls, never really got stuck on anything.
But I did make sure they tucked up the exhaust really high, some times it would hit the floor board. It was really worth it to be to have the most clearance though.
