Well I am really thinking of going with the SLP cai with the black powder coated trick flow elbow. Any one have any other suggestions before I put another dent in the pocket book the wife won't like, haha. Thanks.

Yea, I thought the powder coated slp would look good with the powdercoated trick flow. Why? Any other ideas? I'm trying to think of everything before I break the bank once again.

Are you concerned about weight at all? The SLP CAI is pretty heavy, and so is that cast trickflow elbow. I shed just over 6 pounds by switching from an SLP CAI with cast Vortech elbow to a K&N CAI with composite Trickflow elbow.

And just an FYI on the composite trickflow elbow for you or anyone else, even though it's listed as elbow only on Summit and Trickflows website, mine did come with all the hardware needed to install it in the box.

Im running K&N cai it fits good and huge improvement, if I could do it all over again I would go with the SS hood and ram air style intake.

X2 i got the 1LE elbow and i have an SLP and it fits great. looks nice too.

As far as flow, the numbers would probably be so close it wouldnt make any noticeable difference.

Weight is not my main concern, while I am thinking about it. I want some thing that looks great and functions the way it should. I will shave weight in the places people won't see.

Do you have any pics of it on your car? I've seen the K&N in person, and the LS1 lid, but have yet to see an SLP or LPE.

I recommend the K&N. I had a Callaway Honker before.(Same as Moroso; they bought the rights for it from Callaway.) It was a pain to get setup, and I had some problems with Callaway. So I ditched it, and I got the K&N. Simple to install. LPE is pretty much a Moroso with a huge filter. I have no experience with the SLP. The choice is up to you.

Edit: If you go with the K&N, I found WS6store was cheapest. They have quick shipping too.

Whats the opinion with the E-bay CAI ? I'm gonna procharge my car and don't really want to spend money on stuff I'm gonna throw out. I'm asking cause the boot to the throttle body is messed up. Sorry bout the hijack.
