I think i know the reason why this happened though, i never installed a capacitor for my stereo system. so i have a sub connected to my amp connected directly to the battery. bad idea? yes. lol. i guess i'll go out and get myself a good cap.
Is the car still starting good?

yeah, you will need a battery before too long. That was a sign i knew my batts were going bad. It would fail to start, i had it jumped and it was fine for a few weeks and then it did it again. So be prepaired to get a new batt.

Thats good,
Like you said, it must have been the sound system that drained your battery (alternator couldn't keep up). Did you notice were your lights dimming when the base would hit? That is usually a sign you need a capacitor or a larger capacitor.

Yes, if i turned the bass way up this would happen. I used to have 2 12'in subs in my old bimmer with a cap and everything was fine. so when i put 1 12'in in this car i figured i wouldnt need a cap, guess who was wrong? LOL

so lesson learned guys, always cap your amp to the battery!
