Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you man.
Lots of good pointers in this thread.
Bottom line is that the combination of parts used is far from optimal.
Smaller cam, bigger injector and a proper tune should get you started.
LTs are the way to go IMHO ... the mids were choking my 350 LE setup until I put LTs on.
Fish around some of the H/C build threads and see what has worked well for people and
what hasn't. Hopefully the next build works out better.

Im trying to find a solution now.if its about the wrong cam choice im willing to get another one, & if my problem is in Headers & bigger injectors i'll get them, but i cant just throw away everything i did & save up to get one of those combos, we are all going through hard times.

If i had the cash to get one of their combos i will not hesitate to do so.

probably bad portwork on the heads
cam is too big
injectors are probably too small
You don't have one problem you have a few, heads probably being the biggest.

Just because it's not AI, doesn't mean it's crap.
But it is certainly an unknown.
The cam and injectors on the other hand are obvious things to try.
Given the limited budget, I'd stick with the heads (even if they're not perfect) for now and tackle those issues first.
Assuming they were not butchered, he should still be able to make 375-400 with a 230ish duration cam.
If they turn out to be a big issue, he can always swap heads out when funding permits.

But we have no way of knowing what the portwork even looks like.

The dyno run looks pretty smooth. No leaning out at the top fuel wise, so I don't think his injectors are running out at the top.
And it may just be me, but the hp/tq numbers seem odd in the way they are graphing. It may just be the combo of parts though.

- Vehicle Weight
- Gearing
- Street/Strip use
224/230 is a very popular setup for street cars; idle is aggressive, but not terribly lopey.
Peak power occurs slightly above 6000RPM.
Here are two excellent choices from Lloyd's site
226/230 .565/.565 111 LSA. - 1900-6200 RPM
NON-EMISSIONS version of 223/230 cam mentioned above. Mild to choppy idle.
Good HP/TQ through out and a very usable power band. Best choice for "most people"
using stock bottom end. Minimum 2800 stall and 3.42 gears for B body. Comparable to
Comp 467 XFI cam.
230/234 .592/.592 111 LSA - 2200-6400 RPM
Choppy idle. Good mid range and top end power. Minimum 2800 stall and 3.42 gears for
F and Y body. Minimum 3200 stall and 4.11 gears for B body. Comparable to Comp 306 cam

Cam selection depends on many factors, including (but not limited to);
- Vehicle Weight
- Gearing
- Street/Strip use

Seriously, the cam didn't even see it's peak! The guy on the dyno never ran it to where it should (granted on a stock bottom end I wouldn't either) but that cam has much more in it w/rpm.
