Anyone care about MPG?

Its depressing around town, but I've checked it on a trip from NJ to Pittsburgh and I got 31 mpg I couldn't believe it. I was at 1500-1600 rpm the whole time going about 5 over (70mph). On the way back I got 30, and this trip was when gas was $4 a gallon so I was pretty pleased.

I dont want to know my around town mpg's, im a lead foot around town anyways. but Ive checked my highway mileage before, 450miles on 1 tank which is 32mpg! this was at speeds of 80-120 but 80 for the most part.

Don't really keep up with it much any more, but when it was stock I could bearly squeeze out 16 on the freeway. About 85-90 percent of my driving is freeway between 65-75 mph. Now I get some where around 18.

Running richer than hell, my speedo's off (throws my trip/odometer off), and having a lead foot with mostly town driving, I still average around 13-14. I can't wait to get a retune, so my speedo's correct and I'm not running so rich. Then, I expect to get somewhere in the area of 17-18.

I'm near stock, I'm usually around 21mpg with a mix of city driving, country roads, and a 7 mile burst of highway everyday on they way to work. At least 60-70% of that is with the top down, which I would think might have a slight negative impact. I don't hammer down to the red line every time, but I probably find a few excuses a day for some WOT gear grabbing action.

no BS, why would I lie. I drove from wellfleet ma to sunapee nh and back on one tank, I cleared my trip before leaving and when I got back to wellfleet and filled up it was right on 450miles. my brother had to fill up his pathfinder twice and he went thru boston and I went around. when I drove to canada one year I burnt 4 tanks on the way up never going faster than 80. but on the way back I was going 120-140 from the border to just outside of boston and only burnt 3 tanks, wish I tracked the miles that time. again why would I lie about this

I always do the math in my head when I fill up and I average around 10mpg, 11mpg if I'm lucky. Big stall + gears + aggressive cam = terrible gas mileage but a blast to drive. Our GTO and TBSS both average about 15mpg and the Grand Prix gets 19-20mpg which I consider amazing lol.

when I run the car out 4-5 times when it goes out, mixed driving, 16-17. On the last two I've been nice and have gotten ~20 give or take .5, big difference. So, needless to say, I'm a little nicer to it now.

I used to get about 21 mpg all around and 25 mpg highway when I had 3.23's and a stock converter. My 3.23 rear end got messed up so I replaced it with a 2.73 rear and put a 3400 stall in at the same time. I now get 18 mpg all around and about 25 mpg highway. I do track my mileage at every fill up but I only do it to see what it is. If fuel economy becomes a concern I just drive my little Toyota Corolla which gets 33 mpg all around and 40 mpg highway!
