Cooling fans dont start!

I did the DIY fan switch mod a long time ago so i can switch them on whenever. It works great too. The only problem is that the fans wont run without me hitting the switch. So far everythings still good But i really need this fixed now. I have the switch so if flip it down the low fans come and when its up the fast kicks on. can someone help me.

did you cut the wires goin to the pcm or the harness to the fan switch to make your own fan switch

If you cut the wires to the computer, they will never come on without you turning them on. It's working correctly as you wired it. If you do a switch like shown on my Tech Page, it will still work with the computer and by manual override.
