I thought a pair of ported, newer style TFS heads would do the trick?
Top it off with a single plane and a 4-hole.
Large solid roller.
LT headers dumped
Stand alone, crank trigger, rear mounted distributor...
Forged bottom end.
7500 rpm

Rick Intrau ran 8.07 with a single turbo combo that wasnt really sorted, he did it in the middle of summer. Stock Suspension and a 10 inch tire. With some more time and cooler air it would have EASILY ran in the 7's.

Big Purple on here has a twin turbo LT1 that runs DEEP in the 8's.

There is also a guy on here that runs a 10 inch tire stock suspension nitrous combo up in Denver, runs mid 8's I think in that altitude. At sea level would run 7's. Its white with orange stripes. The build was documented on the board here.

The carb'd nitrous LT1 blew that combo before he could run it in good air Would have been another surely in the 7's.

He made that pass, took the car back to the pits to up the boost but the motor had a spun a bearing. Though his car is done, I think Chris will take his record back of having the fastest LT1

Awesome, lot of good info on this post. Looks like there's couple LT1's about to be in the 7's. Would be nice to see once they officially run 7's.

From the dead

We only went 9.doh's in a half season. If things work well financially this year we'll have our 8 sec pass up here in Denver; 7200+ DA

Motor is back together, dealing with some ignition issues currently. And we'll be back out on a 275 radial
