Valve Spring install HELP!!!!
lloyd elliot told me to use the the comp cams part #4770-16 locators with the crane 10308-1 kit. This gives it an installed height of 1.820" And giving you about 145lbs of seat pressure. That's without using the shims that the kit comes with. Was just at the shop and measured everything.
i think it will be alright. the locator is just keep the valve spring in place from the bottom, but either way the valve gose thru the middle acting as a locator from the top plus the valve springs are compressed so i dought there will be any wobbling or movmnt. yes lloyd (the man) is right and would of bin the best rought but both methods will work perfectly fine.
