Do you happen to have the dyno graph for that?

I would like to see these dyno numbers also or timeslips would work. Speedinc just built a car with LE2 heads and a Hot cam, dyno tuned it made about 360ish if I remember right.
Not too many heads will work as well as LE2 or AIs 200s, and speedinc can tune. I dunno I just have a really hard time seeing that

Wow 360rwhp with le2 heads? I make 320 with a 146,000 mile long block, stock throttle body, no electric water pump and a pcmforless tune through a stalled auto. Le2 heads are only worth 40 hp? I know who I'm not buying my heads from. There are documented cases of the hotcam with stock unpoted head cars puting down 350rwhp

Maybe they were LE1s but that is still above average, and i think you dont know what your talking about, your sig says 318rwhp with your hot cam. even with a 0 DA your hot cam is good for bottom 13.s based on your 14.0 @ 98
If you think just slapping a set of heads on your gonna gain 82rwhp your retarded.

BTW my LE2s have me trapping 120mph and dynod 414rwhp b4 I added 3"TDs through a S60 rear end and bone stock short block.

Buy your heads from whoever you want, AI, LE, or Joe Nobody. I'll stick with Lloyd. Just remember what's been said a million times. Not all dynos or the guys running them are the same. There too is why I stick with SpeedInc. The car has been on the dyno many times and have never seen any weird #'s. I also try and keep track of other LT1 cars that hit that same dyno to compare parts and ideas. It seems all the cars have realistic results. The cars have good combos, proper tunes, etc, or they don't. It's not like the dyno is having good days or bad as some other dynos seem to have.

No problem here Jason, let each person choose their own poison.

PS, wait a minute, Hotcam, Jason, that reminds me, bought one from you about 5 yrs. ago. Never did use it though. Yeah, I know, who cares.

Yea probly bottom 13,s is about right. The car has 146,000 miles on the long block so I'm sure it could make a little more power if new rings were installed? I think the car would make 400rwhp with a tb, nice heads, and an electric water pump? Thats 62hp for heads and 10 and 10 for the tb and wp.Sounds very possible to me.

After researching I have found a few guys that claimed they made 400 on the dyno but they only trap like 111?
Tell me if the hot cam really made those numbers why would Most AI and LE and LPE everyone elses car with nasty set ups and custom cams make less or little more than 400. Hell even alot of strokers dont make 400. I would say one of 100000 hot cams could make that kinda power.
Hey I had a hot cam and its a good all around cam but Id say nearly impossible to break 400.
Who knows maybe Im crazy but, I have never see one in person or on the net with proof, either a dyno sheet or time slip that actually indicates that type of HP.

It doesnt matter what the heads are they will only flow as much as the cam lets it and the Hot cam just doesnt breath enough. The heads with outflow the cam

Pyro my setup should make 400 to the ground w no problem.

I'm not going to get caught up in a number though, it will have a badass power band for the street. Smooth and flat with torque everywhere, that's what makes a car fun to drive.

I dont have any dyno numbers since doing headers, ewp and a couple other small things but FWIW I trap 115mph with stock unported heads on a 100k mile longblock with the hotcam. One advantage to running the hotcam, or any other smaller cam for that matter, is the valvetrain wear and abuse. How many times have you seen/heard of broken valve springs/valvetrain issues with big cams? Now how many times with the hotcam or something similar like the 502. I've had mine in for over 30k miles of trouble free driving. Just my $.02
