Oil pump help

So im building a new engine for my car right now and my shortblock is almost assembled. I need an oil pump now but i dont know much about them, which one should i get? its a forged 370 if it matters at all.

People seem to complain about the search function on here (never tried it, myself), but oil pump threads are frequent. If the search works, you should find plenty of info.

Make your query "oil pump" (quotes included) and concentrate on the actual oil pump threads. It includes a lot of threads that you could care less about, but will show you some that are purely oil pump related.
FWIW, I chose a Melling standard pressure standard volume for my build. However, YMMV.
