hey has anybody on here heard of putting an ls1 style air box/lid and air damm on the lt1 cars? This thing is loosing alot breathing through the fender with the k&n and i dont have a MAF anymore so it doesn't matter.

I've got the same heads Sounds damn good!

Yes you can use the factory hood, but I dont think you can use the lower radiator support with the factory hood. If you do a search on here and over on LTxtech, there is another thread with a lot of info on it as well.

Hey, sorry I forgot your name, Mike I think? Nice to meet you yesterday, that car is a monster! Hope to see it run again. Will you be at NED for Camaro/Firebird day?

Default 1st Outting

Well I went to NED Saturday got in a whopping three runs. The first run out I had a large fuel delivery issue on the launch so the car only ran a 1.78 60', but even with the launch problem and the car short shifting at about 6700 it still managed to go 11.03 at 127.8. I tried to fix the problem and ran again with the same result. Then I realized that the WB02 was getting reversion from being to close to the exit of the headder and was screwing up my fuel trim on launch. The last run of the day I put on a set of small race mufflers and the WB02 read fine. Of course I blew the tires off the car on launch and about half way down the track the coil quit on me. I could even hear the car go weak at about the 1/8 mile. Still it went 10.95 @124. I put up some vids on youtube heres the link:

With that mph on the first pass, you've got potential for MAYBE 130MPH..Once you get all the bugs worked out and all. That gives me hope for my car, once I get it dialed in

Cant wait to see more times from you!

Can't wait to see what this thing does after you get her lined out. Where did you buy your fast setup? I can't find anyone that has them listed with the LT1 harness. PM me if there not a sponsor.

Are you locking the converter up at the top of third on those runs?
