Pump only kit is 149, bundle package (pump with harness) is 209.

Yes the pump only kit is plug and play. The racetronix pump harness ups the voltage that your pump sees, making your pump more reliable I suppose.

Is this what you guys are talking about, specifically the Performance Bundle?

Does the Walbro pump fit down into that white factory housing, or what they're referring to as the fill bucket? I'm assuming this kit works with the factory sending unit?

I think the pump I put in a few years ago might be shot, so I'm exploring options. I also need a new sending unit. My fuel gauge doesn't work, which kind of bites. The sending units are freakin' expensive.

The pump fits in the stock bucket with minor trimming of the plastic support ribs inside the bucket.

The factory fuel level sending unit remains untouched.

Not sure if granatelli changed their kit but the one I got had a new fuel hose and hose clamps. Yeah the stock plastic fuel supply hose is garabage, the service manual even says it can get cracked and make a fuel leak.

Is there a write up on cutting a hatch, like one with measurments?

Just use the picture earlier in the thread and eye it up. It doesn't matter if you're an inch or two off.

Also, do NOT cut too deep or else you risk nicking the fuel lines. A small Dremel cut-off wheel is what I used.

Just to clarify.... your perception of the plastic hose is incorrect. They can be broken due to improper handling, but they do not typically go bad. The good kits come with the flex hose. A rubber hose will be short lived in these applications.

I keep these kits in stock.

The harness solves one of the critical issues with the factory harness: Low voltage/current during times of high load. The factory harness is barely marginal for the stock pump. When you install a more powerful pump such as the Walbro, you will overload the factory harness, causing a voltage drop during times of high load. The harness solves this problem. If you will read my earlier post in this thread, I explain the quality of the piece. I found out when I installed mine. Money well spent, IMHO.
