Dude, now you got me spooked to look under my SS. I've been meaning to replace my stock unit, but being in Hawaii, the shipping is atrocious.
Especially since your customer doesn't do hard take offs, and I do. LOL.
What I think I am going to do is pull my UMI unit off my Trans Am (6 speed) and put it on the SS, and put a trans mounted Adj. TA on the Trans Am, cause the noise just drives me nuts. I think that the converter in the autos will take most of the shock in the drivetrain away that is causing the racket.
