Default 2 options, advice please.

One is replace the head gasket in my (well maintained) 120,000 mile LT1, mill the stock heads .20 throw in a (218/224 .544/.544 on a 111 LSA, Crane 227, xfi268 or the LPE Slealth cam) pacesetters, Y-pipe, cut out, CAI, and 1.6 RR. What do you think the crank HP range will be?

Then this winter, pull the engine again go 355 forged with either 190cc AI or LE2 heads and use all of the upgrades from above, what would be the increase in HP over the above set up.

I plan on spraying both, changing to 3.73 and a 3000 stall. I plan to go STS at some point with the new engine.

Thoughts?

I would just wait why do the heads 2 times and spend twice the money doing gaskets and bolts?

Did you blow a head gasket or something?

Wait to do it all at one time. You'll thank yourself in the long run, IMO.

Also, you'd want to mill the heads .020", not .20" That's almost a 1/4".
