check the plugs where the engine harness connects into the interior firebird harness, the plugs are exactly the same but look at the individual wires on each plug and make sure that the wires are the same on each side of each plug.
i had this exact problem when i hooked a 93 lt1 harness into my 96 firebird interior harness. i had to swap around like 3 or so wires around. ill see if i can get ya the pin outs for those plugs in the each year. the power feed to the pcm wasnt right so my engine would turn over but have no fuel or ign. since the comp was dead

Just a question, I dont know anything about the anti-theft stuff om the v6's, but is the resistor value on the key fob the same on all f-bodies? Wondering if you need to have vats tuned out if you havent already.
