Default Throwing a P1133 code any thoughts

Hey guys,

My car is a 97 formula 6spd, Gm 846 cam, supporting valve train, emissions legal full exhaust, I pulled the o2's out of another lt1 with lower miles than my car.

I have been told the issue code refers to a fuel/ air ratio problem. And many have recommended purchasing a tune, or simply replacing my bank 1 sensor 1 o2... what are your thoughts? Car is on a factory tune for the time being.

Car runs well but seems to be slightly down on the power you would expect given my mods... Thanks

make sure you don't have an exhaust leak. i would get a tune though. if you are running very rich, it will kill the O2

If I have an exhaust leak it is tiny
Would I be able to smell it if the car was running rich, because it doesn't smell much different then it did when it was stock

are you running longtubes? i have heared that the faster flow of exhaust gasses doesn't allow the 02s to heat up enough (600 degrees i think) plus they are further away than in the stock manifolds and they throw that code...happens to me alot only on the bank 1 side as well. As for how to fix...you can tune and retune till you dont get the code or you can tune both 1153 and 1133 out and be done with it. you still have other codes that set when the 02s are dead. I dont think theres a clear cut answer from what Ive searched seems hit or miss. If your good with tunning or know a good shop they could set you staight.
