I said I had the Energy Suspension POLY mount in that second post lol. Anyways, I only vibrate at 60 or above...havent gone above 80 to test it higher tho.

Everything was nice and snug underneath, used a air ratchet to put it back together, and all bolted up nicely. double checked and all was still good to go. I didnt make any mods to the mount, just normal with the plate.

Had one on my 94 Z, trust me it's the mount. I couldn't take it anymore and put the rubber back on. The only thing I liked about the poly is how it transfered the power to the rear wheels more percise..

Hey:

I was asking about your Motor/Engine Mounts if they were poly or solid as that is what can make it even more noticeable. Only badly worn motor mounts are worse than those other options when you install a poly Tranny mount.

If your Motor mounts are worn out it will vibrate alot more as it transfers from the engine area to the tranny area where you are sitting next to because the poly tranny mount is holding firm.

Was your old tranny mount worn out, or broken? Or did you replace this for the vibrator fun factor alone.

Some of you had to modify your mounts? Why? I just got the Prothane kit with the motor mounts and the trans. mount, I didn't have to modify anything. Who knows if it would have vibrated more or not, I stuck a hotcammed motor in with longtubes from a bolt on motor with shorties, I'm sure it was going to vibrate more anyway.

I have no viabration problems with my prothane tranny bushing. Most of are cars have a vibration at highway speed due to the stock steel driveshaft. I second with the aluminum driveshaft.

When we put mine in it vibrated very bad. I think after a while it got "broke in" (maybe I got use to it) but after a while it was not bad. With the stock engine (not whats in sig)
