Talking Went to the track!

well i went to the track last night and i ran at least 8 passes on my car listed below. at first i was running consistant 13.6 @ 104 mph and 2.0 60ft.
here is my best run

Reaction: .188
I1: 2.030
I2: 5.693
I3: 8.729
MPH: 82.407
I4: 11.343

E.T. 13.545
MPH 104.938

the car ran really well and i was pleased and my friend with a LS1 was surprised.

Next Im going to rebuild the engine and go with a LT4 Hotcam. its my DD.

Yeah if you want a nice emissions friendly cam that works very well I'll also vote for the LPE 211/219...Ran it for 7 years in my 383 and ran high 11s back in the mid 90's with it...The specs are 211/219 .533/.560" using 1.6s on a 112...

the 211/219 can have a slight lope to it if you idle it down a bit

what about the Lloyd Elliot LE1 setup with the cam below?

223/230 .565/.565 112 LSA. - 1700-6100 RPM Largest emissions friendly cam. Pretty mild idle and still able to work with stock gears and factory converter in F or Y body. Needs small stall and gears for B body. Comparable to GM Hot Cam and Crane 846 cam.

Your car should be well into the 12's with a Yank SS 3600 and a good drag radial or slick.
