Default what good brand for stock thermostat ?

my thermostat ( motoRad ) area is leaking, so I expect it an o-ring, car never over heat so i know the stat is still working. I just wonder its good ideal to just replace the whole new stat, if its, what is the best brand to buy ? do they sell only the o-ring for stat or I have to buy whole new one ? NO I DO NOT WANT 160 STAT. Thanks

I can't imagine why you wouldn't want a 160 though? They're like $25.

I guess depending on his location he thinks it would take longer for the heater to work? Never had a problem with mine though (then again you need tuning to take full advantage of it).

OP, why not?
