1989 vette lt1 swap

1989 vette lt1 swap so my friend has decided instead of repairing his engine with a spun rod bearing to swapping an lt1. he chose me to be the main person behind everything so i was wondering if anyone had any write ups on this and what i would need. hes getting his lt1 with all accessories, wiring harness, and ecu
you may want to go over to the corvetteforum and ask there. since the c4 body is the same when they went from l98 to lt1 i think it'll be straightforward. If he's getting the lt1 from an fbody, i think you need the oilpan from an lt1 corvette as well as headers from an lt1 corvette.
so i think you can get it running pretty straightforward, but what are you going to do about the electronic dash? how will you wire all that stuff.
Plus if i recall, the computer on the l98 corvette is on the driver's side and if your wiring harness is from an fbody, then everything will point to the passenger side so you may want to see if you can get a wiring harness for an lt1 corvette as well. while you're at it, might as well upgrade the dash to a lt1 c4 look and get that wiring harness, i think it will look a lot better and a lot of the electronics in that 89 dash are probably suspect as well.

As stated, get over to corvetteforum. Been done a few times.
