Question 1.6rr

anyone know where i can get some steel 1.6 RR half way cheap around 150 or 200 dollars and what springs and pushrods to go with them will probably get a cam in the near future

look in the LTx forsale section. People are always parting out there setups.

+1. You can pick up a set of used Pro Mags for about 200-250 bucks, if not cheaper. You will need LT4 springs and hardened push rods at the minimum. Once you get a cam you will need better springs. Either Comp 918's, PAC 1218's, Patriot Golds/Extremes, or Crane 10308's would be good.

would it be ok to run those comp 918's without an upgraded cam for a while or are they to much for the stock cam

No problem. You can really over spring a cam.

Too much? Is their such a thing lol. You'll be fine with those on the stock cam, you'll probabally pick up a few hp up top over the stock springs too.
