Trip to the track = carnage!
After two months of working on the car I finaly finished the couple small upgrades I was performing on my car so I was off to the not so local drag strip (I live 20 miles from Pacific but decided to drive to Yakima) After the 150 mile drive the first pass was not so text book after shreading the tires fo 100' or so I managed to shift from 2nd to 5th gear but still ran 15.3 at 90mph with a 2.7 60'. That was shifting at 5200 rpm.The second pass had a better 60' but the run didn't feel right so I kept pulling out of it and coasted through at a 15.9 80mph well on the return road i couldent help but notice the tinny thumping noice in the bottom end. a pull of the dipstick revealed a colorful oil/metalflake So now its 11pm and I had to call out a favor a buddy came with a truck and trailer and we were home the next afternoon.I'm not looking forward to pulling the moter out but thats cars for ya.

Nothing real huge just Ewp, cat!, Throttle bypass, new ign, and a new clutch. It was my first time to the track in this car I normaly run a low 10sec camaro. The whole stick shift racing is new to me.I was hoping for a low 14 or high 13 pass. It would have been close.
