Default Question about 'free mods'

I am doing an LE2 head, 226/230 cam package on my car, and thought it was a good time to take care of these 'free mods'

My question is, I want to delete the coolant lines that run through the TB, I traced one to the back of the passenger side head. From there, it runs across the back of the block to the driver side head. Can I rip that line out as well, or do I need to leave the hardline there to pass coolant from one head to the other?

You traced the wrong one... That's the coolant steam pipe from the back of the head and needs to be left in tact.

The two nipples for the TB are on either side and should be clearly visible. I would just get a hose mender which is a barbed, 2-sided fitting made for connecting 2 hoses.

Disconnect them from the TB and hook them to each other. Done

Take off the Hoses that connect here and connect it with brass fitting and small band clamps.

well minus the fact that this is a ls1 TB. but same principle. the LT1's are located in the same general area

Dont have any pics, but the easiest way is to completely disconect the passenger side tube that connects from the TB to steam pipe, then disconect the driver side tube from the TB and hook that directly to the steam pipe using the same clamp. Done.
