Default McLeod bell housing install...

Has anyone installed their McLeod bell housing yet? I'm in the process of fitting mine up. If I put the stock bellhousing, and the McLeod unit with block off plate side by side, the McLeod is about an 1/8 inch taller. Has anyone else come across this? Any problems or difference with clutch engagement after the install? Also, it looks like I have to do a little grinding on the block off plate to clear one of the header tubes by the starter. I'm running Kooks 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 long tubes.

Well, I had to do a little grinding on the block off plate to clear one of the primary tubes, no big deal. The big deal was that I discovered that the trans to bellhousing bolt holes were not tapped! I called Billy at McLeod and had the option to send mine back for a new one, or he would tap mine. I just brought mine to work and tapped it. So much for being just bolt in...
