security light coming on cant start car

security light coming on cant start car i just replaced the ignition switch everything was working fine again but now whenever i get in my car and go to start it the security light comes on and disables the starter so i have to wait till the light goes out to start it. has anyone had this problem or know what is causing the security light to come on
