I think the starter is still stock or close to it. He upgraded to a 16V system a few weeks back. It probably spins the starter better. The fuel pump sounds crazy now too when it primes.
I'll let Tony chime in when he gets back in this thread. I'm just taking a guess.
Ive followed your car since I first read about it in the gmhigh tech lt1 vs ls1 nitrous shoot out a few years back. I believe you was mid to high 10s back then and still driving the car to work lol. Great recovery for the shootout. Made me feel like **** when I couldnt make the shoot out due to parts not being here on time. Congrats on an awesome ride and a new best pass.
Thank you all! Was a fun ride. I will reply to a few......too many to do all.

Thanks Daren! I knew I had to holeshot him so I was all business at that point! Haha. He had the faster car that day for sure.

btw, what starter are you using?
Stock AC Delco LT4 starter from a 96 Corvette. 16 volt stuff works well.

Thanks....that GMHTP photo shoot and shootout was in 2003. The mag came out in 2004. I was already running 9's when the mag finally came out. Wish you could have made it. Was a blast!
Yes. Had to every pass! The body shop did not bleed my brakes after they had it all apart. My fault for not bleeding them properly before the race. The first pass I noticed a spongy brake pedal and had to pull it. Never had time to bleed the brakes at the event so I just used the chute as insurance.
