Default A/C Delete panel specs

Does anybody have the exact measurements for the A/C Delete panel?

I have some sheet metal and I want to make this panel before I put my engine back in.

Thanks

Your probably better off to make a template out of some thin cardboard. Then trace it onto the sheet metal that way you get it right and don't have to worry about ruining a sheet of metal.

Just my opinion though, but I have a pic of the plate (think its from the merv's car) that I saved for reference.....

Yup, that's mine..

I had the Engine out of the Car and I used a really thin piece of Aluminum to make the Template. That Panel there is 1/16" Aluminum plate.

Here is another pic..

Yeah but the ones that are sold bolt to the inside requiring you to remove the heat too. The one like the merv has keeps the heat so you can still defog the window and stay a little warmer when it gets cold. But looses the AC and makes the eingine compartment look 10000000000x better LOL

You took the template off correct? If so, you just chisseled the welds off?

I have to put a piece of metal on the bottom right corner by the tranny, I found a nice rust spot there.

Here is a current pic with mine installed..

Another major thing too was I got rid of the stock Heater Lines and used some 5/8" & 3/4" Rubber Hose with a Bracket off of the Strut Tower. Doing it that way really opened up a ton of room.
